How to grow endive
Cichorium endivia
When to plant endive
Endive and escarole are cool-season crops you grow in early spring or late fall. Oregon State University says to plant as early in the spring as possible and stagger plantings once or twice per week; transplants are grown about six weeks before they are needed.
Endive is timed by season rather than your frost dates, so the planting calendar does not generate ZIP-specific dates for it. Check the cited sources below to fine-tune for your area.
