When to plant Mizuna

Mizuna is a fast cool-season Asian green that tolerates light frost and is slow to bolt, making it ideal for early spring or fall planting. Sow seed directly in the garden; it germinates best at 55 to 75 degrees F and as low as 40 degrees F (Penn State).

The calendar shows this cited seasonal window as an approximate band. It does not convert the season into frost-adjusted dates.
