When to plant Mulberry

NC State Extension says to prune mulberry in late fall or winter to avoid bleeding and gives no planting date. As a deciduous tree it is set out as dormant stock in early spring while the soil is workable.

The calendar shows this cited seasonal window as an approximate band. It does not convert the season into frost-adjusted dates.
